Covid hit Boston and then the world. As she hibernated with the rest of humanity, she wrote bits and connected with other comics via social media. When the world started to open up again, she started to reach out to bookers and was able to get some of her first shows. David frequently performed at many Boston clubs and area halls. He won “The Funniest Man in Rhode Island" Comedy Contest in 1986. He has opened for Steven Wright, and even had a chance to play at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. David then stopped performing and went in another direction for a quick 30 years to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant, because you can't live on comedy alone. About a year ago he got "the bug" (not the covid one) and started performing again. There is definitely not a straight line in one’s comedy career and David has enjoyed the scenic route. His contagious energy and melodious material will have you in stitches as he shares stories of his 20 plus years working in the Emergency Room, without violating any HIPAA laws.
